Would you love to try your hand at performing and appearing in a show? Whether you have a special talent or are keen to learn one we would love for you to take part in a brand-new production at The REP as part of Birmingham International Dance Festival 2018. Deadline Wednesday 21 February 2018. We are on the hunt for people or groups in the West Midlands to be part of an exciting, large-scale production of Woyzeck, a play that celebrates fighting for a better life when everything else seems to be standing against you. The production will be directed by The REP's Artistic Director Roxana Silbert and choreographed by award-winning, Birmingham based choreographer Rosie Kay. We are offering a unique opportunity for 100 local people to be part of this ambitious project. You will take part in a series of workshops throughout 2018, develop skills, make friends and eventually tread the boards of our main house stage in this new and exciting production in June 2018.
