Walk or bicycle
If you are a local resident, we encourage you where possible to walk or bicycle into the city centre and make a day of it!

Public transport
Birmingham city centre is well served by bus, metro and train services. Plan your journey at www.networkwestmidlands.com. We recommend that you make yourself aware of your last train home and give yourself plenty of time to get to the station.

Our Official Travel Partner, West Midlands Railway operates the local and regional train services within the West Midlands area. They offer great value fares to/from Birmingham. For more information visit westmidlandsrailway.co.uk

Travelling by car

A number of road and access restrictions are in place around Birmingham including temporary measures supporting the Paradise redevelopment in the city centre. Please plan your journey carefully and allow for extra time if travelling by car through affected areas. Full details are available at www.birmingham.gov.uk/connected.

Disabled access

The vast majority of IDFB venues and shopping centres are accessible to those with limited mobility. If you have specific access needs, ask a volunteer to assist you in getting the best possible view of the performance.

Wet Weather
Venues and timings may change in the event of bad weather. Check our Social Media pages or ask one of our volunteers for updates. Capacity is limited for some events.
