Throughout June, Birmingham International Dance Festival will host a multitude of  kid-friendly performances, workshops and activities. Best of all, the majority of it is free. Here are a few of our highlights:

Sat 9 & Sun 10 June

Funny and original, four dancers perform dressed in inflatable latex suits which transform and magnify their movements. Intricate and precise choreography is given a new dynamic and energy by the element of weightlessness. Click here for more.

From the white of its glaciers to the northern lights; from geysers to the rumble of gigantic waterfalls; a fairy-tale landscape is brought to life, as three dancers take the role of ‘Kindur’ (sheep in Icelandic), guiding audiences through the natural elements, animated by mysterious forces.
