BOLERO is a dance piece about tenacity. It explores the frontier between lightness and gravity and the fine line separating pleasure and exhaustion.

It could well be said to be a dance about the passing of time, the relationships that last forever and my memories of my parents when they were young. It also has something of the current landscape I perceive in Madrid and is somehow similar to the melody of Ravel’s Boléro, to love, dance and flamenco songs: when too much practiced, often ends up broken.
